Privacy, in plain language.
No facial recognition. No per-worker scorecards. No selling your data. This page covers the rest — what we collect, what we process, and how to have it deleted.
Effective July 3, 2026
Who we are
Tectiv is a product of Karna Arc Ventures LLC. We build jobsite intelligence software: it reads feeds from construction cameras and turns them into crew counts, idle time, and zone activity. This policy covers both this website and the product itself.
What this website collects
If you send us a message through the contact form, we receive what you typed: your name, email, company, and message. We use it to reply to you, and for nothing else.
The site also uses privacy-respecting analytics to count page views and see which pages get read. We do not build advertising profiles.
What the product processes
For customers, Tectiv processes video streams from cameras the customer owns or is authorized to use. Our models turn that video into structured data: counts, durations, and zone activity.
Raw video is deleted after processing unless the customer opts in to retention. The structured data — counts, durations, zones — is always the customer's, to export or delete.
What we never do
We do not use facial recognition. Our models detect people, equipment, and activity — they do not match faces against any identity database.
We do not build per-worker scorecards. Workers appear as anonymous IDs used for counting and activity, never as named individuals.
We do not sell your data, license your footage, or share it with insurers.
Cookies and consent
A banner lets you accept or decline cookies. If you decline, the non-essential marketing analytics that help us understand how people find and use the site are turned off for your visit and stay off, and nothing on the site stops working.
Your choice is remembered in your browser's local storage so we do not ask again on every visit. To change it, clear this site's storage in your browser and the banner returns.
Sub-processors
A short list of infrastructure providers helps us run the service: Supabase (database and authentication), Vercel (website hosting and analytics), Apollo (website visitor analytics, which loads by default and stops if you decline cookies), AWS S3 (footage storage), and Resend (transactional email).
Retention and deletion
Raw video is deleted after processing unless you opt in to retention. To have your contact-form submission, account data, or structured data deleted, email [email protected] — we will confirm once it is done.
Changes to this policy
We are pre-launch, so this policy will evolve with the product. When it changes, we will update the effective date at the top and call out anything meaningful rather than bury it.
